Mohamed Irfaan Ali, president of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, accompanied by Minister of Health Frank C.S. Anthony, has visited the Lot 4 Enmore site of the Guyana regional hospital project, undertaken by China CAMC Engineering Co (CAMC).

During the visit, Ali and Anthony reviewed the project's progress in detail. Ali emphasized the significance of healthcare cooperation in strengthening the friendship between Guyana and China. He expressed gratitude for the project team's dedication, highlighting their exemplary commitment, efficient execution and professionalism in advancing local medical infrastructure. He said the six modern regional hospitals being constructed by CAMC are eagerly anticipated by the people of Guyana, as they will represent a major step forward in improving his country's healthcare services. Ali encouraged the team to maintain momentum, aiming for early completion to deliver tangible benefits to local communities.

The Guyana regional hospital cluster project, constructed by CAMC and designed by its subsidiary China IPPR International Engineering Co, encompasses six hospitals across different regions of the country. As the largest and most advanced medical service facility in the country, the project demonstrates CAMC's integrated development strategy on an international scale. Once completed, the hospitals will consolidate high-quality medical resources, establishing a modern healthcare platform to serve the people of Guyana.
