Held on October 15 at the Phoenix Center in Beijing, the summit saw Phoenix Satellite Television and the China International Contractors Association unveil a prestigious list. The selection highlights 10 standout projects in the 2022-2024 period that have made significant strides in green energy and sustainable infrastructure facilities outside China.
The Al Dhafra PV2 project stands as one of the world's largest single photovoltaic power stations and a key Belt and Road Initiative undertaking in renewable energy. Its successful completion has significantly bolstered CMEC's reputation in new energy markets, making it a leader in the field of sustainable and high-end projects.

The "Sustainable Infrastructure for Chinese International Contractors" assessment, guided by government standards and the ESG principles of the foreign contracted engineering industry, is administered by the China International Contractors Association. Projects are evaluated on multiple dimensions—economic, social, environmental, and corporate governance—by an expert committee comprised of representatives from government departments, financial institutions, international organizations, and think tanks, with oversight from professional bodies to ensure a fair and thorough review.
